What we offer Universities

We connect university students with exclusive opportunities to launch their careers.

University Society Partnerships: We collaborate with university societies to host events, provide resources, and support students as they achieve their career goals.

GAIN Investment Insight Program: Designed for curious university students, the GAIN Investment Insight Program provides mentoring, facilitates networking with investment professionals, and includes two in-person

Career Development Support: Students gain hands-on experience with leading firms in investment management, build their skills, and enhance their CVs through meaningful work experience.

What We Offer High Schools (Gymnasiums)

We engage with gymnasium students at a pivotal time when they are beginning to explore their future paths, giving them the opportunity to discover investment management as a career option and to make informed choices about their studies.

School Talks: Through engaging and interactive sessions held directly at schools, GAIN inspires students with stories from real role models working in finance. These 30–60 minute talks provide an introduction to investment management, highlight the wide range of career opportunities in the industry, and show how skills such as analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving are relevant beyond the classroom. School Talks can be tailored to whole classes or specific groups, and are designed to spark curiosity and make the world of finance more relatable and accessible.

Investment Challenge: A national team competition designed for female and non-binary students in gymnasiet. Over the course of 5 weeks, students work in teams of 3–5 to research and analyze a stock assigned by GAIN. Guided by mentors and supported by online learning sessions, they build their financial knowledge, teamwork, and presentation skills before pitching their recommendations — buy, hold, or sell — to a panel of industry professionals. Along the way, participants gain real-world insights into investing and compete for prizes, with 5,000 SEK awarded to the winning team.

“The low representation of women among decision-makers in the investment industry has a profound, lasting impact on society. Our mission is to empower and inspire talented women to pursue careers in investment management and equip them with the knowledge and experience they need to succeed. By doing so we are not just shaping careers – we are reshaping the future of the industry.”

- Emmy Sendow, Managing Director, GAIN Sweden
